Welcome to Imagine After School!
Here at Imagine Theatre, we are striving for Theatre For All - which means we are constantly envisioning how to best bring theatrical programming to youth and families in Clackamas County. Imagine After School is our newest offering: high-quality classes taught by two local, experienced Teaching Artists, right after school. Theatre for All, After the Bell.
Imagine curriculum has clear benchmarks for each class that act as guideposts for students, ensuring they are prepared to move on to the next level of courses. Our Teaching Artists pull from their own wealth of knowledge and experience, and utilize resources like Drama Notebook to supplement the curriculum and meet the exact needs of our students.
We believe that students learn best through "doing". Because of this, Imagine Theatre emphasizes movement, projects, and active learning in all of our classes. Teaching Artists empower students to take ownership of their own learning through personalized lessons and in-class leadership opportunities.
So whether your youth has past experience in theatre or is just starting out, the Imagine Community can not wait to meet them! See you on stage soon 🎭
Note: NCSD does not sponsor or endorse the activities and/or information contained in this material or connected sites.

Class-Show Promise
Did you know Imagine offers TWO productions each term? One at our Milwaukie location and one at our Boring-Damascus Grange location. You can check out our show offerings here!
Did you also know that students enrolled in an Imagine class are GUARANTEED a role in the production they audition for? This means if a student completes an audition and is in good standing with the program, then their spot is protected in the show even if the production has to make cuts due to a large number of students auditioning.
Note: the Class-Show Promise does not apply to every production. Check each production's audition webpage to see if the policy applies.
Additionally, if a student is enrolled in a class, they will also receive $20 off their production fee!
- *For Fall '26, the Class-Show Promise applies to both Elf Jr. (Boring/Damascus Location) & Wonka (Milwaukie Location).
