About Playhouse Collective Theatre: Presenting their second production, Playhouse Collective Theatre is a youth run theatre company built and performed by young thespians! Playhouse is excited to have adults joining this production in the adult roles.
About Imagine Theatre: Imagine Theatre is deeply passionate about supporting youth in the theatrical arts, so when an alumnus (Jared!) of our program started his own organization we could not have been more proud and excited to help. For this production Imagine Theatre is honored to contractually support Playhouse for this production with rehearsal/performance venue space, and on-site performance support (Box Office/Front of House/Concessions). Imagine Theatre is not involved in any casting, managing of rehearsals, or anything else other than what is outlined above.

About The Show
- Length: The estimated performance length is 1hr & 45 minutes plus a 12min. intermission.
- Synopsis: An eclectic group of six mid-pubescents vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home lives, the tweens spell their way through a series of (potentially made-up) words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, life un-affirming "ding" of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Six spellers enter; one speller leaves a champion! At least the losers get a juice box.
- Content Consideration: This show includes mature themes, adult humor, and content that may not be suitable for all audiences. Recommended for audiences aged 13 and above.
- Artistic Team: Jared Beideck (Director), Kent Wilson (Music Director), Jeff George (Choreography)
