Now piloting....
Private Lessons & Coaching!
Imagine Theatre is excited to offer Private Lessons & Coaching! This program is being piloted during 2025 to determine the need and desire of such program within the community.
Imagine's Private Lessons & Coaching program allows students to receive individualized instructions in a range of disciplines related to the Performing Arts. We hope to see the offerings expand over time to include voice, dance, improv, acting, music skills (reading, composition, etc.), play writing, etc. For lessons that are 45min or 1hr in length, students can cover multiple focuses based on the topics offered by the teacher!
Why take lessons through Imagine? Imagine offers high quality lessons while also ensuring peace of mind and comfort for families and youth. Imagine provides formal lesson space(s), competitive rates for both families and instructors, liability coverage, and administrative support. It is truly a win-win-win!

Louis KruseType of Lessons Offered: Audition Prep, Monologue Coaching, Musical Theatre Song Analysis, Script Study, and Audition Book Building.
Bio: I love teaching one-on-one lessons, and finding that spark of joy in theatre with students! One of my biggest passions in theatre is the connections and "aha!" moments that come from character study. I love connecting those deeper lessons of character studies with musical theatre and how it applies to the music we are so passionate about singing! |

Bio: Hello! My name is Alec Martinez (He/Him) and I LOVE all things music and acting. I joined my first choir when I was in first grade, and was in my first show in pre-school (I was also the lead!). I am passionate about listening to students' goals and empowering them to reach for the stars. I went to Portland State University (PSU) where I got my Bachelor's in Vocal Performance/Music Education, and a Minor in Special Education. PSU is where I also received my Masters in Education. During the day I teach elementary music, and by night I am the Executive Director of Imagine Theatre with the help and support of my wife Tiffany and our daughter Lucía :) In my free time I love traveling with family, and playing outside with our GoldenDoodle Winston! |
